Rustybeard the pirate-inventor is an eccentric man who mainly speaks in “arr”s. He’s an ingenious man who can build anything, provided he’s plundered the right material from other ships. so far he’s made a pegger-blade, (peg-leg rollerblade), a mechanical pencil-hook and has repaired and improved his ship  with train parts and a rocket exhaust, meaning he can travel almost everywhere!

The crew have all slowly gotten sick of him and abandoned him, except for his loyal cabinboy who’s pretty tired of him.

Whenever Rustybeard gets an idea, his light-bulb hat lights up (totally not originated by the skull looking like a light-bulb) and does all kinds of things to the ship. A whale’s hurt nearby and Rusty Fixes him up with a metal plate on his spout.

bunch of pirates nearby spot Rustybeard’s ship and decide to take it for themselves. They are the Pirate Rangers, each with their own ship and colour, and take over Rusty beard’s ship with their daring, yet flashy, kung fu skills! Just when all is about to look bleak, CabinBoy puts the last nail the coffin and Rustybeard is left to be stranded on a lonely island.

But then Rusty’s hat lights up! and he gets to work on motorizing the island into an all new ship and gives chase. As he catches up, they Pirate Rangers do battle and Rustybeard shows them what for!

But then the Pirate Rangers unleash their secret weapon, their ships combine into a giant robot, with Rustybeard’s ship being a new jetpack, piloted by none other than CabinBoy.

Stuff happens and the Power Rangers are defeated in the most cunning way ever! 
(which has not yet been thought of yet).

Still needs some work, such as an epilogue, the cunning battle, and a female protagonist, maybe Pinkbeard or something…
